I'm a huge Dan Wells fan, so I was excited to see that's he finally written an adult book (although I do count his John Wayne Cleaver series as crossover) and fortunately, upon reading it, I was not disappointed! "The Hollow City" is psychological drama at it's best: gripping and genuinely creepy! I couldn't put it down - another success for Dan Wells!

Triburbia (Hardcover)

$25.99
ISBN-13: 9780062132390
Availability: Usually Ships in 1-5 days
Published: Harper, 7/2012
I'm the sort of person who, when given the choice of hypothetical magical abilities to possess, always chooses mind-reading over anything else. I'd love to be able to get inside peoples' heads (yes, I'm creepy) and I love books that allow me to do just that. "Triburbia" is such a book: each chapter is narrated by a different character, all of whom live in a privileged enclave in New York. I enjoyed every page of peering into their minds and lives - it fulfilled all of my Harriet the Spy-ish desires - those who are similarly inclined and even those who aren't will love Greenfeld's newest!

Shumway's debut is an absolute delight to read: fun, chatty, and charming, I couldn't put it down! I look forward to seeing more from this author!

The Last Policeman (Paperback)

$14.95

Published: Quirk Books, 7/2012
What would you do if the world was ending? Hank, the policeman at the heart of Winters' novel (the first in a planned trilogy), is determined to keep doing his job to the best of his abilities. No one else seems to see the point, what with the earth's imminent demise, but there's something strange going on and Hank's determined to get to the bottom of it. I love Winters' work and I'm dying for the next book in this thrilling, tragic, and scary series!
