In honor of the last day of August, I'm posting the rest of my favorite picture books for this month! Pick some up to read over the long weekend!

Some things were just better in the '60's: soda (real sugar instead of corn syrup), drive-ins, and Barbie! This paper doll book features Barbie at her most glamorous (and Ken at his unintentionally most feminine). Little girls will love the elegant gowns, the cute casual separates, and tidy accessories. I myself could always take or leave Ken, but for kids who feel differently, they can dress him up in a tuxedo, button-down shirts, or a BBQ apron. Enjoy!
