Illustrator Dan Santant has organized a charity auction for 826LA--a a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting students with their creative and writing skills. Based on his recent picture book, Oh No! (Or How My Science Project Destroyed the World), written by Mac Barnett, Santat commissioned 30 other children's book illustrators to recreate scenes from the book to auction off at the end of August. The artworks will be auctioned from eBay in two rounds and will be open to the public. The artwork will have a short-lived exhibit at Nucleus Gallery in Alhambra from August 14th to August 17th.
