After a tragic accident, Andi and her mother are both drawn into seclusion and a life of depression. Andi is also a talented musician and playing guitar is one of the only things saving her. Not expecting to find anything worth her while in Paris she stumbles upon an antique guitar where she's staying. She finds a hidden compartment housing a very old and very valuable diary. The diary was written by Alexandrine, maid to the prince of France, Louis Charles. Told in alternating perspectives this novel will transport you back in time and leave you feeling like you were at the revolution.

One of the best books of the year by far. A complicated love triangle only made more complex by the big brother "society" of the future. Cassia has spent her whole life following the rules of the Society. And on her birthday she accepts that her perfect "match" is life long friend Xander. Her and Xander start to fall into the rolls of matched partners but when Cassia meets Ky on a school trip her world is shaken because she feels Ky is a better match. This discovery forces Cassia to unravel the secrets of the Society and question the role that the government should play in our lives. Poetic and powerful this dystopian will leave you speechless.

A wonderful debut! Lonely Hearts Club was refreshing, cute, romantic, well paced and girl powered! I loved finding a book that was such a strong and positive image for girls. Eulberg is on her way to becoming one of my go to's for contemporary fiction!

When Nora Grey finally wakes she has no idea why she is in the town cemetery nor can she remember the last four months of her life. In this third (and almost final) novel by Becca Fitzpatrick, we learn what has been going on with Patch and Nora since the night of Nora’s shooting and the Black Hand’s involvement. Needless to say, I love this volume as much if not more then the previous two and cannot wait to see how everything ends in the fourth and final book!

This book has so many awesome qualities that reveal themselves to you after being read. I’ll fully admit that as I began reading I couldn’t believe how shallow and insipid the main characters were being. I am SO HAPPY I continued reading. The plot line is intriguing, well paced and full of mystery. The characters, while hard to relate to in the beginning and quite frankly make you want to scream at them in frustration, by the end have you feeling fully sympathetic (a hard feat in my opinion for any author to achieve). It is a creepy read that still weeks later has me questioning what happened and pondering the ending. A worthy and intriguing read!
