Susan Patron will be making a special visit to Mrs. Nelson's to discuss the follow-up to her Newbery Award-winning novel, The Higher Power of Lucky. Lucky is back and is as charming as ever as she makes her own luck in her small.She's nearly 11 and now that her family life has settled down she is looking for a best girl friend. When Paloma comes to town with her geologist parents, Lucky thinks she's found what she's looking for, but will she forget about her current friends and family? Classes are welcome.
