Dodger For Sale is a really good book. I like it because it is funny and sort of mysterious. I love mystery books. When I first started reading this book I felt like the book was kind of lame, but whenever I finish a book, even if I don't like it I think to myself, "Wow, that was a great book." This book is about a boy named Willie, a girl named Lizzie, and a blue chimpanzee named Dodger. They all find a sign by the forest that said "For Sale"! They try to save the forest by looking for endangered species of animals and plants, but instead they find LEPRECHAUNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Read the book to find out what happens next! My favorite part of the book is when one of the leprechauns melts Lizzie's boot. I recommend this book to everyone under the age of 11 if you like funny books. Read the book and enjoy!

I Survived the Sinking of the Titanic, 1912 was about a boy named George who is traveling on the Titanic with his sister, Phoebe, and his Aunt Daisy. George explores the ship every day. He makes two Italian friends, Marco and Enzo. Then, one night, he hears news that the Titanic has struck an iceberg. He doesn’t realize the Titanic is sinking until he goes on deck. There, he cannot get into a lifeboat, because they are all full. When the ship sinks, George finally finds a piece of furniture and scrambles on it. Then, the Carpathia rescues him.
I enjoyed this book and I recommend it to anybody who is interested in the Titanic. I think the best part about the story was the history of a real event. I learned a lot about this event.

Maddie (most popular) is heart-broken when her boyfriend Thom moves to California where girls, supposedly, wear bikini tops to the classroom. Her friends Cara (most beautiful) and Fergie (most stylish) tell her that Thom will be true, but then immediately start looking for new guys for her. All guys are contenders, except for Sam who Cara is crushing on, but who actually likes Maddie. Everything is going fine until a group of M.I.N.s (most in needs) come asking for fashion tips. That’s when just the small details will change everything. 4 ½ stars out of 5, ages 12-17.
India is named after the ink. She has a dog who eats her slippers and a bird named Beatrice. India has many odd adventures in this book, as she tries to figure out who she is in her unconventional family. I liked the drawings because they kept the story interesting but I found the story confusing and think it is better for older readers.
[Recommended ages are 8-12.]

11-year-old Scarlett and her 9-year-old sister Rosie were attacked by a Fenris, also know as a werewolf, while they were playing in their yard. The Fenris killed their grandmother before they knew what was happening. Scarlett lost her right eye while trying to protect Rosie. After the attack, the girls learned as much as they could about Fenris, and a few years later they started purposely luring and killing them. But now Rosie isn’t sure that she wants to keep hunting. She is being encouraged by a friend to have a more normal life. But Rosie feels that she would be betraying her sister if she gave up hunting. This is a somewhat scary, bloody book that I would recommend to girls ages 13 and up.
Eighteen-year-old Bronwen believes agreeing with her crazy relatives is much easier than arguing with them. For example, they are convinced that lightning can freeze and that the Dutch invented epilepsy. Bronwen used to joke that she was switched at birth to explain why she was so different from her family. When she meets Jared, she falls in love with him. When he asks her to marry him, she says yes. His family welcomes Bronwen with open arms. She has always dreamed of having a normal family, and it might finally be happening. I would recommend this book to girls ages 12 and up.

Olive has just moved into a very old house that her rather odd parents, both mathematicians, have chosen. She finds a pair of old spectacles and immediately decides to wear them. She soon realizes that none of the paintings in her house can be moved and, furthermore, that the paintings are not stationary images but rather windows of sorts and can be entered. Olive enters one and finds a terrified boy. However, by this time she has landed herself deep in a mystery, where she must decide who she can trust. I recommend this mysterious novel to ages 9 through 12. It is a good book for anyone who likes somewhat suspenseful fantasy books.
